WINEMAKER’S COMMENT
This vibrant wine is bright cherry in colour, with hints of spicy plum. There is a prominent cherry flavour upfront, with a touch of yeast and lovely sweet vanilla to finish. It has a smoky quality which adds another
layer of complexity to the wine. All in all, it is full flavoured and smoky on the palate with a rich sweet and savoury fruit finish.
VINEYARD & WINEMAKING
Individual parcels were cold soaked and fermented separately in large open top fermenters. The wine was plunged three times daily and left on skins to intensify the tannins. Malolactic fermentation was completed in a mixture of new seasoned French Oak Barrels. After 12 months of barrel aging, the best barrels are blended together to produce the perfect drop.

Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with Peking Duck.
